PLAY-BASED ATHLETICS FOR KIDS
FITNESS AND ATHLETICS FOR KIDS
Move Play Academy is a fitness and athletics program for kids ages 4 to 12 designed as an extension of gym class - providing a play-based environment for kids to learn and explore the building blocks of athletic movement, while fostering a positive relationship with fitness.
Each class follows a consistent monthly focus, and our coaches provide personalized adjustments and progressions tailored to each participant's skill level and age. We believe every student starts from a different place and grows at their own pace, we’re trained to address these differences in a safe, inclusive way.
Classes meet once a week. Participants may choose either to come on Tuesdays or Thursdays for the semester. Changes are allowed mid-semester at any point, and on a case-by-case basis to have a make-up class.
Please consult our FAQ for additional details or email us at eddie@sunnysidestrength.com if you have any questions.

You will be invoiced 5-7 days prior to the start of each monthly cycle. You can pay with any major credit card. Please contact us for alternative payment options.

WHY IT MATTERS
MORE THAN GYM CLASS.
Most kids need more structured athletic development than one weekly gym period can provide. Our program fills that gap — systematically building the physical foundation that makes kids better at every sport they play.
🏃
Real Motor Development
Progressive monthly curriculum builds coordination, balance, and agility at the right stages of childhood development.
🧠
Confidence through challenge
Kids learn to try hard things and try again. Physical achievement builds mental resilience that carries into classrooms and life.
🎯
Sports-Transferable Skills
Throwing mechanics, footwork, jumping, kicking — movement patterns that apply across every sport your child will play.
🤝
Social fitness
Games and group challenges develop teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship — skills that don't come from solo screen time.
💪
Age-appropriate strength
Bodyweight training and functional movements that build real strength safely, without machines or early specialization.
🔥
Increased Self-Motivation
Every session is built around movement and play. Kids don't feel like they're "working out" — they're having the best time of their week.
